The “most well rounded” awards will be given to the two players whose votes were spread across the most categories each year. This year’s most well rounded male athlete is BC men’s hockey captain Marc McLaughlin. McLaughlin is a fan favorite who has shown great leadership as a 2 year captain, has improved exponentially over his 4 seasons as an Eagle, and was one of the team’s best and most consistent players this season

BC Interruption’s 2021-22 Team of the Year is Women’s Lacrosse

The women’s lacrosse program continues to be BC’s top performer, routinely making championship games and producing star players. This season, the Eagles had a 19-4 record (with 3 of those losses coming to the 2022 National Champions, UNC), and a 6-2 conference record.

BC Interruption’s 2021-22 Most Improved Female Athlete is Belle Smith

As a sophomore, Smith started 23 games for the Eagles, and scored 4 game-winning goals. She improved all of her major stats from her rookie season, including boosting her goals scored from 47 to 55, her assists from 18 to 28, and her total points from 65 to 83
