Kevin Hayes Signs 7 Year, $50 Million Contract With Flyers

The former Eagle just got a big pay day Just a few weeks after acquiring his rights in a trade with the Winnipeg Jets, the Philadelphia Flyers signed Kevin Hayes to a seven year, $50 million contract per Bob McKenzie. The former Boston College star was due a big payday after posting the best season of his career in 2018-19, and the 27-year-old will now be taking home north of $7 million per season to play in Philadelphia

Fox 61 in Connecticut put together a short feature on the soccer star sisters Boston College alumna Allyson Swaby (CSOM ‘18) is playing as a defender for the Jamaican national soccer team in the Women’s World Cup. Her sister, Chantelle Swaby, is a rising senior at Rutgers, and both Swaby sisters managed to play their way onto the Jamaican national team roster. It’s the first Women’s World Cup appearance not just for Jamaica, for for any Caribbean nation.
