Gerbe has played for the Buffalo Sabres and the Carolina Hurricanes. According to NBC Sports and Swiss newspaper sources , Nathan Gerbe is close to signing a deal in the Swiss League with National League A side Geneve-Servette. Gerbe was a fan favorite at Boston College, spending three seasons with the Eagles from 2005-2008.
